At Thryve

Bringing trusted care into the moment before crisis.

Dr. Leah R. Steinberg is a board-certified adult psychiatrist, emergency psychiatry attending, and Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate. She is also a mother, bringing clinical experience and the realities families face into the same view.

Her focus is the moment before crisis. She believes families need a trusted, culturally responsive place to turn while thoughtful care and continuity can still change what comes next.

As Medical Director, Dr. Steinberg guides medical direction and clinical quality across the broader Thryve network. She helps ensure that new programs, partnerships, and access models grow with sound judgment, responsible standards, dignity, and care that is reachable soon enough to matter.
